New Plymouth’s Taranaki Stadium hosted just under 50,000 fans at three Rugby World Cup matches involving USA, Russia, Ireland, Namibia and Wales. Fans loved the Love NZ recycling bins and recycled the equivalent of 176,000 cans, 77,000 plastic bottles and 1700 glass bottles at the stadium.
LoveNZ bins will be available for your recycling at the Blues Super 15 Rugby at Eden Park and North Harbour Stadium.
view eventDuring the Rugby World Cup, Love NZ recycled over 530 tonnes of packaging. This is the equivalent of collecting 16 million glass bottles, cans, plastic bottles and cartons over a six to eight week period. This would fill 176 forty two seater buses.
